So the mothers genes doesn't transfer as strong as if its Asian father? Was Jon from Kate Plus eight half Asian only? I thought he was full Asian where as Joanna seemed very Americanized Asian. I often forgot she was Asian when I watched their show. Maybe something to do with dominant and recessive genes. My cousins are half Filipino and they have a darker skin tone and glossy black hair but their facial features look more European than Asian.
